City of Lights...

Hi and welcome to Blackpool Community Church blog - or as I've called it 'City of Lights'. For me this title captures something of what the Spirit of God has called us to be. He's called us personally to be a light to the world but he's called his church to be a city on a hill - a city that cannot and will not be hidden. God has called us in BCC to work with him as he builds his church in this area - a church that will declare the righteousness of Christ where we live, in Blackpool the surrounding towns and to the nations!


It's also a good way for those of you who are 'IT literate' (and anyone can be!) to keep in touch with what's going on as we serve God together. I'll try my best to keep it up to date and we plan to include a variety of material to keep things interesting!...

One great thing about blogs is that you can update them easily. I'll try and keep bulletins and notices on here as well.
